Kruno Miličević is the co-founder and CEO of Random Red (randomred.eu), a research and development company specializing in the digital transformation of metrology and quality infrastructure (QI). His work focuses on integrating emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and fully homomorphic encryption to enhance the security, interoperability, and efficiency of QI systems. He leads projects like MorphMetro (morphmetro.eu) and TruPS (trups.eu), which facilitate secure exchange and analysis of measured data (and data in general) using advanced encryption techniques, and contributes to the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) and European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI), aiming to streamline verification processes in metrology, including calibration, inspection, and credentialing. Kruno has an extensive background in QI, digitalization, and standardization, actively participating in international working groups such as OIML SC E-Learning, IMEKO TC6 Digitalization, EUROLAB’s Working Group Digitalization, AIQI, IEEE TC-10 Waveform Generation, Measurement & Analysis, and IEC TC85 Measuring Equipment Standards. Additionally, he serves as an observer board member of the Digital Credentials for Europe (DC4EU) Consortium, focusing on the development of trusted digital identities and credentialing mechanisms in scientific and regulatory domains.
