Big Data, Bigger Results: Modernizing Candidate Selection and Design

Developability of biotherapeutics historically involves several rounds of experiments in late Discovery to assign risk levels to the manufacturability, long-term stability, and delivery of a candidate. Recent advances in computational tools, including AI/ML, have the potential to disrupt the status quo. In our team, data capture systems were established within the past two years to fuel innovation. Alongside high-throughput screening assays, we are collecting ML-ready developability data on thousands of biotherapeutics to enable correlative and predictive modeling. This talk will cover the data systems we use as well as current experimental and model status.

One last note from me – can you please change my title in the program to either simply “Associate Director” or “Associate Director, Biologics CMC Developability”. On LinkedIn, I saw the title of “Associate Director, Preformulation” – this is an old group name.
