Adeline Martin is a professional at MEDES, the French Institute for Space Medicine and Physiology, where she contributes to research and innovation at the intersection of space and human health. Her work focuses on translating knowledge and technologies developed in the space environment into applications for healthcare and life sciences. She is involved in the BSGN Life Science Industry Accelerator for the European Space Agency (ESA), supporting biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in leveraging the unique conditions of microgravity for R&D and commercial applications. Through the programme, she works with industry and research partners to identify high-potential projects, develop business and technical pathways, and facilitate access to space-based R&D and ESA co-funding opportunities.
