Ning Wang is a full professor at the Smart Internet Lab, University of Bristol and he is also the deputy director of the JOINER project funded by EPSRC, a UK-flagship project for testing future telecommunication technologies including 6G. His research areas include future network technologies, network management and control, telecom energy efficiency and immersive media networking. Over the past 20 years he has led and participated in nearly 30 R&D projects funded by the UK government, European Commission, ESA and the industry. He was the technical manager and deputy director of the £12M TUDOR project funded by DSIT between Feb. 2023 and Jan. 2025 when he was a full professor at University of Surrey.
