Jonathan is Head of Policy at Logistics UK, leading policy and stakeholder engagement on behalf of over 20,000 logistics businesses. With 15+ years in policy and public affairs, he develops Logistics UK's voice on national infrastructure issues, working with Government and stakeholders to shape policy that supports safe and efficient logistics. Previously, he served as Head of Policy at CILEX and Policy Director at North East England Chamber of Commerce, where he campaigned on a broad range of regional and national issues, led the organisation's response to the Covid-19 pandemic and established Brexit-related business support services. At the Chamber, he transformed the North East economic survey into a valuable barometer of business confidence and championed work on tackling racism and child poverty. Jonathan holds an BA in Politics and MA in Media and Public Relations from Newcastle University and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
