David Simpson is a senior telcos executive with over 25 years’ experience leading operations, transformation and growth across major UK connectivity businesses. He began his career at Telewest in 2000, progressing through NTL and Virgin Media, where he held senior operational roles including leading the UK’s 24/7 Network Operations Centres and serving as Head of Strategy to the COO.

In 2016, he joined Virtual1 as Operations Director, later becoming COO and helping scale the business from £12m to £70m revenue before its acquisition by TalkTalk Wholesale (now PXC). He then led major integration programmes as Transformation Director and Interim COO.

Since 2025, he has been Product and Customer Experience Director for Virgin Media Business Wholesale.
