Prashant is the Director of Grid Transformation at ERCOT where he leads initiatives to solve grid and market challenges. Prior to ERCOT, Prashant worked at Tesla leading its global Power Systems team focused on BESS modelling and grid interconnection. He also worked at American Electric Power (AEP), Schweitzer Engineering Lab (SEL), and Engineers India Limited (EIL) with experience across Inverter Based Resources, NERC compliance studies, grid stability, protection system, power quality, and substation design. Prashant got his Bachelors (EE) from Delhi College of Engineering, India and Masters (EE) from Washington State University, USA. He is also a registered Professional Engineer and a Senior Member of IEEE.
