With an MA in Community and Economic Development including training in city planning, quantitative analysis, and GIS, Kate can adapt to the specific grant management needs of any infrastructure project. Along with demonstrated success in grant identification, application development, and writing, Kate’s LDA experience includes federal grants reporting and audit preparation. She has worked on grants ranging from cybersecurity to solid waste management to broadband deployment. Kate’s repeat clients include cities and Tribes across the country, for whom she has secured millions in funding. She serves as LDA’s cybersecurity specialist. Prior to her work with LDA she was a program director for a nonprofit, where she wrote, secured, and managed private foundation grants to support program activities.
