Curtis Dean | Executive Director
Community Broadband Action Network

Curtis Dean, Executive Director, Community Broadband Action Network

Curtis has been involved in community broadband since the late 1990s. He is passionate about the benefits that are invariably derived from the accountability provided when local needs are front and center, whether in public or private partnerships. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Buena Vista University and an Executive Master of Public Administration from the University of South Dakota. He knows the words to just about every popular song released since 1980 and still occasionally DJs events in Central Iowa for fun. He is also president of SmartSource Consulting, which provides support for community-focused broadband providers from planning through implementation.
