Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer.

Paul Verhagen is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) since August 2023. In this role, he is responsible for global sales, digital sales, distribution, brand and marketing, product, loyalty, customer experience, alliances, customer service and Cargo.

Previous Positions:
•Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Iberojet Airlines (2020-2023).
•Senior Vice President International Sales and Commercial Strategy at Aeromexico (2016-2020).
•Various senior positions at Air Berlin and Air France KLM (2000-2016).

International Experience:
Paul has lived in over 13 countries and speaks more than three languages fluently. His international experience spans Europe, the Americas, the Caribbean, and Asia, providing him with a broad understanding of the global aviation and hospitality industry.

Education and Previous Experiences:
Paul has a solid background in commercial leadership and has worked in various executive roles within the aviation and hospitality industry. He also has previous experience as Regional Director for Norway, Finland, and the Baltic States at Air France KLM.

Paul Verhagen has played a key role in strengthening SAS's position as a leading international airline and ensuring that Copenhagen Airport continues to develop as an important global hub.
