Nik Munaretto is the Managing Director of Plug and Play Austria and leads the firm’s Travel & Aviation EMEA vertical. Plug and Play, headquartered in Silicon Valley, is the world’s most active early-stage venture capital firm - investing in 200–250 startups annually and connecting over 550 global corporations with cutting-edge technology solutions. With a career spanning venture capital, corporate innovation, and entrepreneurship, Nik has worked across four continents helping organizations adapt and thrive in rapidly changing industries. He began in international higher education recruitment, building connections across Japan, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the US. He went on to build and lead a startup accelerator and incubator, mentor early-stage founders, and co-found a supply chain digitization startup.Since joining Plug and Play, Nik has scouted and invested in high-potential founders and built strategic partnerships with some of the largest corporates in Europe and beyond.
