Laurent Chauvin SVP, Technology Strategy, Transversal Services, Research & Innovation Laurent has worked at Amadeus for over two decades. He currently leads the Technology Strategy, Transversal Services, and Research & Innovation department, a position he has held since January 2023. Reporting directly to the CTO, Laurent leads cross-functional initiatives across the technology organization. He is responsible for shaping and articulating Amadeus’ technology vision, developing cross-functional technology services to improve the company’s software as a service (SaaS) offerings, and promoting innovation through the AI Center of Excellence. Laurent joined Amadeus in September 2003 and has held several leadership roles at Amadeus. He began by setting up the Airline IT Delivery Unit, overseeing the migration of airline customers to the Altéa platform. As Director, he managed major projects including the migration of major airlines to the Altéa Suite. He later led the Central Delivery Services group for the Distribution business unit, where he focused on developing new methodologies and practices in travel agency IT solutions and professional services. He then led Airline IT Services & Consulting, driving the development of complementary services such as revenue maximization, digital transformation, and bespoke IT solutions. As head of Airlines Global Sales, he focused on consultative selling and the strategic promotion of Amadeus solutions for airline customers. His next responsibility was to drive the Airline NDC & Order Business Unit to acompany the industry retailing transformation, leading this evolution through Scaled Agile (SAFe) practice implementation, and overseeing sales and business development, product strategy, go-to-market execution, and operational delivery. Before joining Amadeus, Laurent worked in the telecommunications industry where he held various positions, amongst which were Lab Director at Orange R&D and VP Business Development at Sofrecom Argentina. Laurent holds a Civil Engineering degree in Aeronautics and Space, with a major in Automatism and Robotics from ENSAE (also known as Sup’Aéro) in Toulouse and a Master in IT from Nice University. Laurent, who is a French citizen, also lived in Argentina and Spain, and speaks English and Spanish.
