Jaroslav Brezina is the founder of Walk-Check Systems. He spent more than 11 years in ramp operations at Munich Airport, where he repeatedly ran into the same problem: visual aircraft inspections are performed routinely, but afterwards it is hard to verify which areas of the aircraft were actually covered.

Walk-Check grew directly out of that operational experience. Using a mobile device camera and computer vision, the system determines which predefined areas of an aircraft were sufficiently captured during a walkaround, flags the ones that were missed, and guides the operator to complete the inspection. European and international (PCT) patent applications have been filed. The product is currently at the MVP testing stage.
