Ian joined Wizz Air in 2022 as Chief Financial Officer and has since played a pivotal role in enhancing our financial discipline, refining decision-making frameworks, and supporting long-term strategic planning. Prior to joining Wizz Air, Ian has accumulated over 25 years of experience in aviation, finance, and commercial leadership. His career includes senior positions such as Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer at Unical Aviation, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer at AJW Group, and Senior Vice President at Seabury Aviation & Aerospace. Ian began his career in finance roles at the Allco Finance Group and KPMG. Ian holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School and a dual Bachelor of Arts in German Studies and Geography from Middlebury College.
