Billie Moore is OneReg's Chief Regulatory and Industry Engagement Officer, engaging C-suite aviation industry leaders, regulators and government to progress the future of the aviation regulatory ecosystem. She joined OneReg following nearly four years as Chief Executive of the New Zealand Airports Association, representing the operators of 49 airports nationwide in a country dependent on aviation for its economic and social fabric. Her career spans aviation policy, infrastructure regulation and government relations across New Zealand and Australia, including as Chief Advisor at the Ministry for the Environment, Head of Government Affairs at Tourism New Zealand, and, as a former diplomat, New Zealand's Consul-General to New South Wales and Queensland. At OneReg, Billie's focus is on the relationships that sit alongside the technology – turning individual traction into a genuine network effect, where real-time data moves between operators and regulators to sharpen safety oversight and strengthen policy. She is known for working at the boundary between industry, government and regulation, and finding practical paths forward on issues where the easy answers ran out long ago. Billie speaks on the future of aviation regulation and the shift to risk-based oversight.
