Tasmiya Hussein graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 1995. 
Since then she has worked in busy 24 hour veterinary hospitals in a variety of roles including emergency, consultation and hospital shifts. 
Her love for veterinary ultrasound initially started more out of necessity than anything else - a beautiful ultrasound machine and essentially nobody to drive and use it or a boss who was so busy and didn’t have time to ultrasound the difficult medical cases.  Throughout her career, she has seen the modality becoming increasingly used in the general practice setting as a means for early pet diagnosis, better medical care and to increase job satisfaction for veterinarians.
