Mick Kirwan began his career with a foundation in electronics, receiving specialized training through the Department of Defence Navy. He then transitioned into the biomedical field at Westmead Hospital, where he was responsible for the maintenance, repair, and training in the use of advanced medical electronics equipment. After several years in the public sector, Mick moved into the private sector, focusing on medical equipment servicing. In 2000, he co-founded VetQuip, a company dedicated to veterinary equipment services, which was later acquired by Provet.
With a clear vision to elevate standards within the veterinary equipment industry, Mick joined VetTech to help grow the company into one of Australia's leading suppliers of veterinary equipment. As Corporate Equipment Manager, he oversees the implementation of new equipment, manages service operations, and leads corporate partnerships, ensuring VetTech continues to provide high-quality solutions to the industry.
