Dr Leah Manning Johnson, BVSc, MANZCVS (Small Animal Internal Medicine, Pathology), DACVP Dr Leah Johnson is a specialist veterinary anatomic pathologist based in Greater Sydney, currently working at the Elizabeth Macarthur Agricultural Institute. She is also pursuing a PhD in collaboration with The University of Sydney, investigating the pathogenesis of inherited neuromuscular diseases in ruminants. Dr Leah Johnson became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) in 2017 following the completion of a veterinary anatomic pathology residency at the University of Minnesota. Prior to her residency training, she worked in small animal practice, including both general practice and a rotating internship. In addition to her ACVP board certification, Leah holds membership in two chapters of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS)—gaining membership in the Small Animal Internal Medicine chapter in 2014 and the Pathology chapter in 2016. She has contributed to a number of peer-reviewed publications across a range of species and disease conditions and has special interest in inherited diseases, neuropathology and livestock diagnostic pathology.
