Here at Solar Slate Solutions, our mission is simple: provide innovative PV mounting solutions for slate roofs without compromising the beauty and integrity of the roofing material. 

Solar Slate Solutions was founded in 2017 by owner and product inventor Dave Tomolillo, a professional roofer and solar installer with over 30 years of experience in the trades. Dave’s ingenuity has brought the industry revolutionary products that enable solar installers and roofers to provide seamless installations while saving time, money and aggravation. 

You no longer need to be a slate roof expert. Our product takes minutes to install and features a patented spacer technology to ensure no roofing material is damaged during the installation process or beyond. Slate removal is not required and no load is transferred to the roof, providing peace of mind for both the installer and homeowner.
