Mr. Phạm Nguyễn Hoài is currently a PhD student in Transportation Sciences at Hasselt University in Belgium. Since 2020, he has also served as a lecturer at the Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. His research interests encompass smart cities, smart mobility, sustainability, road safety, air transport economics, and urban management.
He is a regular member of the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies and has participated in various conferences and forums as a presenter and author. Notable events include the 15th and 16th International Conference of the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies (EASTS, 2023, 2025), the 3rd EASTS Early Career Researcher Forum (2023) in Malaysia, the 16th Asian Transportation Research Society Conference (ATRANS, 2023) in Thailand, and the 1st International Symposium on Transportation in Emerging Countries (ISTEC, 2019) hosted by Hasselt University in Belgium. He has also participated in the 1st and 2nd International Conference on Resiliency by Technology and Design (RTD, 2022, 2024) at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
His academic excellence is evident through his publications as an author and co-author in prestigious journals and conference proceedings. His dedication to these fields underscores his commitment to fostering safer and more sustainable communities.
