Assoc. Prof. Trương Việt Anh, PhD., is Head of the Department of Industrial Electricity at HCMUTE, with extensive experience in power systems, electrical engineering education, and applied research.
He obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in 2005 and was conferred the title of Associate Professor in 2015. His expertise covers power supply systems, electrical system design, protection and automation, and industrial electrical safety.
With a strong academic and research background, he has supervised 17 master’s theses and led multiple research projects at ministerial and institutional levels. His work includes publications in domestic scientific journals and technology transfer projects in the field of electrical systems.
His research focuses on applying advanced computational methods—such as expert systems, fuzzy logic, neural networks, and optimization algorithms—in power system analysis and control, as well as modelling renewable energy sources including wind and solar. He is also actively involved in curriculum development to enhance the quality of engineering education in Vietnam.
He is a member of the Vietnam Electricity Association and other professional scientific organizations.
