Mr. Vũ Bá Hậu is the Senior Power System Principal at Vietnam Power Resource Partners Corporation (Vietnam PRP Corp.), specializing in power system modeling, renewable energy integration, and energy storage solutions. His work focuses on optimizing power system operations, assessing the feasibility of integrating renewable energy sources, and advancing grid flexibility for high renewable penetration.
With extensive experience in power system engineering, Mr. Hậu has held key positions in renewable energy and energy storage projects. Prior to joining Vietnam PRP Corp., he was a Power System Analysis Manager at Super Energy Corporation PLC, where he conducted performance assessments for large-scale solar and wind power plants and evaluated battery energy storage system (BESS) designs. He also worked as a postdoctoral researcher and research assistant at Kookmin University in South Korea, focusing on microgrid optimization, power system stability, and renewable energy forecasting.
Mr. Hậu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kookmin University and a Bachelor's degree from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He has authored multiple research publications and holds patents related to solar irradiance forecasting and microgrid operations.
