Matteo Vecchiato is a renewable energy executive with two decades of experience in the Italian utility-scale solar market, with a strong focus on permitting strategies, land-use planning and regulatory compliance. He has been directly involved in the development of photovoltaic projects since the first wave of solar deployment in Italy, navigating multiple regulatory frameworks and market cycles.
As CEO of Permatech Srl, he leads the development of PV, agrivoltaic and battery storage projects, addressing complex authorization processes and grid connection challenges. His expertise includes regulatory analysis, stakeholder engagement with public authorities, and project structuring in constrained permitting and grid environments. Since 2024, Permatech has been part of the Espe Spa Group, strengthening its positioning in the Italian renewable energy market.
