Emmanuel Kpakpo Brown is an Identity Expert and the Vice President of the ID4Africa Identity Council (IIC) – a Council currently made up of 43 senior national government identity experts (ID4Africa Ambassadors) from 43 African countries. The Council is a voice from Africa and for Africa that acts as a think-tank advisory body for Governments on identity matters.
In Ghana, Brown is the Senior Officer - Card Production of the National Identification Authority (NIA) and the Ambassador, ID4Africa.
He has previously worked with the Ghana Statistical Service as an Assistant Statistician/Head of Printing & Publications Section and subsequently contracted as the National Communications Consultant for the CountrySTAT- Ghana project of the United Nations - Food & Agriculture Organization (UN-FAO).
Brown is a reputable international speaker and have presented papers at several international identity conferences including the 2018, 2019 High Security Printing, EMEA in Warsaw-Poland and St. Julian’s – Malta respectively; ID4Africa 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Annual Government Forum on Electronic Identity in Africa – Rwanda, Namibia, Nigeria and South Africa - 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 respectively; and the 11th Government Discussion Forum on Electronic Identity, 2015 - Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He has extensive expertise that spans over a decade in the Biometrics and Identity Management industry.
