As an as an ex-Reuters financial consultan, with over 30 years of experience in finance and technology his passion for entrepreneurial innovations is evident from his previous role as the CTO of one of the largest banks in the Middle East, where he helped establish one of the largest Neo-Banks globally, serving over 11 million customers. An experienced Venture Capitalist and mentor who has played a crucial role in the growth of startups at Level39 since its inception. He enjoys advising the Level39 community/startups on strategy and securing investments. Notable startups, such as WISE (formerly TransferWise) and Revolut, have benefited from his guidance at Level39, where he remains one of the original VC mentors. As an early investor in Google and Amazon, and having recently organised a successful Web3/DeFi event at Level39, his deep understanding of emerging technologies, combined with his mentoring background, positions him as an ideal candidate to lead an insightful session on AI agents for the startup and VC community. He is also an international author and a frequent keynote speaker at global banking conferences, where he discusses the future of finance. He holds an M.Phil. in Computing.
