Dr. Ahmed Sedky is a well-rounded Vice President – Procurement at Al Ghurair Investment and a Doctor of Business with more than 25 years of experience across multicultural Groups in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United States, UK, and Egypt. His experience extends to various fields, including construction, real estate, facility management, manufacturing, energy, commodities, raw materials, machinery, nutrition supplements, firefighting systems, retail malls, chemicals and petrochemicals, and general trade.
He is a transformational leader skilled in building and uplifting team capabilities and skills. As an expert in setting strategies and engineering processes, he successfully transformed and uplifted the maturity levels of Procurement Functions across several Groups, driving the optimization and digitization of the related processes.
He is a Doctor of Business with a concentration in Project Management, Organizational Leadership, and Business Sustainability with Walden University – the United States. He holds a master's degree in Management of Foreign Trade Logistics and Supply Chain Management, certified in International Supply Chain Management by IPSCMI – the United States, a certified Change Practitioner applying the ADKAR Model by PROSCI – the United States, and certified in coaching and mentoring by ILM – UK.
