I am currently associated as SVP and Head – Digital Solutions Group with Indus Ind Bank and am primarily responsible for handling the following verticals:
- Digital Channels – Net Banking, Mobile Banking, Whats app, Chatbot , Alexa, Website Indie , Gift city , CBDC app.
- Digital Platforms for Individual Segments – Savings Account Opening Platform, Digital Lending for PL and CC for both assisted and DIY Journeys, EMI Debit, BNPL products
- Digital Platforms for SME Segments – Indus Merchant Application, Digital Lending for SME Business including products like small ticket business loans & GST linked loans, Current Account opening platform for both DIY and Assisted journey, Video KYC platform
- Engagement Platforms – Loyalty, Event Based Engagement Tool , API management for onboarding 3rd party partnership arrangements
- Responsible for setting up and running the Quality Engineering Framework by introducing testing automation in the entire Software Development life cycle
- Responsible & Heading the Quality of Digital Services division for ensuring customer delight and improved Customer experience
- Responsible for Driving the Government of India , RBI and IBA initiative of setting up Digital Banking Units right from conceptualization to implementation and operationalizing the same.
- Introduced & Implemented Multifunction Kiosk and Recyclers for the Bank for DBU initiative
- Develop synergies and digital solutions for the Bank by onboarding and collaborating with new age Fintech Companies
- Responsible for delivering high end solutions across all digital platforms under digital business over 800 releases across platforms annually
- Responsible for Vendor Management , Contract negotiations and Commercial Negotiations for all partners associated with the Digital Business.
- Responsible for Compliance Governance and Audit for the entire Digital Business. Implemented Digital Lending guidelines and underwent multiple rounds of audits with Regulator.
Earlier I was associated with Sohar International formerly known as Bank Sohar, Muscat (Oman) and have been instrumental in the Digital transformation and digitization brought in Bank Sohar Retail Banking within a short period of 3 years+, and introduced many high value projects which helped in the overall transformation of the organization. Few of the projects namely Implementation of the Pan Bank Omnichannel Customer Experience Platform, Digital Branch Solutions like Multifunction Kiosk, Interactive Tellers, Digital Business solutions like Pan Bank Lead Management System, Incentive Management System, Cash Recycling Technology, Digital Onboarding, Tablet Banking, NDCE, ChatBots, Social Media Banking etc. Apart from this, I have been instrumental in revamping the existing Digital Channels and also introduce new functionalities on the digital channels which includes new Mobile Banking and Internet Banking applications for Retail, Islamic and Conventional Businesses thus complimenting the physical channels and migrate the physical transactions to digital and help in reducing the cost per transaction.
Before Oman, I was associated with Yes Bank India for over 8.5 years in Digital Banking as Group Executive Vice President and heading the Self-Service Channels, White label ATM sponsorship programme and NPCI sub membership Programme.I was also associated with Hitachi Payments formerly known as Prizm Payments, Euronet Worldwide, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ICICI Bank.
