Graduated with BE in Civil Engineering from UNSW in 1978. Worked in the concrete and asphalt industries for several years before working with several civil contractors in general construction and then specialising in road construction. Commenced my own civil contracting business in 1987 and then an asphalt paving business in 1997. Became a licensed contractor for the Strretprint process in 1999. Built the businesses up to a $10M turnover with 40 employees and sold to a private individual in 2008. Have been consulting to the construction and development industries for 18 years.
