Behind every road safety statistic is a person, a family, a colleague, a community whose life changed in an instant. Roads & Traffic AU is proud to stand behind ARSF's work to prevent road trauma and support recovery.

Who they are

Turning road safety awareness into action

The Australian Road Safety Foundation (ARSF) exists because behind every statistic is a person, a family, a team member and a community whose lives are changed in an instant.

Australia's emergency response is world-class, but beyond the crash, people are too often left facing confusion, emotional overwhelm, and a fractured system of support. ARSF works to close that gap: through education, community engagement, and direct support for people rebuilding their lives after road trauma.

As Roads & Traffic AU's charity partner, ARSF is here to remind our industry why designing, procuring and delivering safer roads matters to real people.

Journey to Recovery

Every year, more than 100,000 Australians are impacted by road crashes, dealing with injury, trauma and financial hardship, often with limited and unclear recovery pathways.

ARSF's Journey to Recovery program delivers the resources, connection and support people need to navigate road trauma and move forward with confidence.

$100 raised supports one family starting their journey to recovery.

Road Trauma Stories: The Human Impact

Behind every fatality and serious injury statistic, there are thousands of stories. Read firsthand accounts from people personally affected by road trauma, and see the ripple effect on families, emergency services and communities.

If road trauma has impacted you or someone you know, support groups and referral services are available through ARSF.
