David Lowe is Chief Commercial Officer at Pointerra (ASX: 3DP), the company behind Pointerra3D, a cloud native SaaS platform for managing, analysing and sharing massive 3D reality, lidar and digital twin data. In this role David leads Pointerra's global commercial function, spanning sales, business development, partnerships and go to market strategy. His remit also extends across product, where he oversees product management and engineering priorities. That gives him a vantage point over both sides of the business: what customers are asking for, and what the platform needs to deliver. The combination shapes how David approaches growth. Commercial commitments are made against a roadmap he helps set, and product investment is directed by the problems customers are actually paying to solve. He works closely with utilities, transport agencies, mining, oil and gas, defence, and survey and mapping organisations as they move from one off data capture projects to persistent, queryable digital twins that support asset management, risk and network planning decisions at scale. David is a regular contributor to industry conversations on digital twins, geospatial data management and the practical realities of working with geospatial data at national scale. He is particularly interested in what separates the organisations that turn spatial data into operational decisions from those that simply store it.
