Tina Dotzauer is a seasoned hospitality professional from Germany with over a decade of strategic commercial experience in the Maldives. Throughout her career, she has developed deep expertise in marketing, public relations, communications, branding, and e-commerce within the luxury hospitality sector. Tina has held key roles with 5-star boutique resorts and internationally recognized hotel groups, including Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, operating in one of the world’s most competitive markets. In 2020, Tina joined The Datai Langkawi, drawn by the resort’s iconic reputation and its strong commitment to conservation and sustainability through The Datai Pledge. Her dedication and strategic vision led to her appointment in 2023 to a leadership role at the Corporate Office of Datai Hotels and Resorts, where she now works on shaping the group’s brand strategy and marketing infrastructure. In her current role, Tina is responsible for establishing and implementing cohesive marketing frameworks for both current and upcoming properties, as well as developing corporate standards for communications and marketing – laying the foundation for consistent, high-impact brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints. Her core responsibility lies in the creation and strategic development of new brand concepts, while overseeing a brand evolution that preserves the integrity of the group’s iconic identity as it expands. Her work is guided by the group’s brand DNA, which centers on the harmonious coexistence of Man and Nature, and is deeply rooted in values of sustainability, luxury, and cultural authenticity. Tina holds a Master’s degree from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany.
