Binod has over 26 years' experience in mining-mineral industry encompassing commodities like Coal, Iron Ore, Bauxite, Manganese, Gemstones, etc.

He has extensively worked for detailed geological investigation and mining of various commodities. He has led multiple exploration projects in India & Africa involving detailed geological investigation, QA/QC, geological modelling and resource evaluation, preparation of geological report, scoping study and pre-feasibility reports, due diligence and evaluation of mineral-mining properties, application of GIS in Mining Industry, Survey and volume reconciliation in mines, He has also handled multiple greenfield projects leading to start of mining operations (obtaining various permissions & clearances, compliances).

He has worked with Hindalco Industries Ltd, Ispat Industries, V.S. Dempo & Co., Essar Power Ltd, Usha Martin, Jindal Africa, Fura Gems, Adani Enterprises Ltd, etc. in the past.

He is a member of The South African Council for Natural Scientific Professionals (SACNASP) and Life Member of Geological Society of India (GSI), The Mining, Geological & Metallurgical Institute of India (MGMI) & Society of Geoscientists and Allied Technologists (SGAT).
