Alan Lui is one of Asia's most decorated loyalty and marketing executives, now at the forefront of Web3 identity infrastructure. With nearly two decades building consumer identity programmes at global scale, Alan brings rare depth to the question of who owns your data — and what that's worth.
As former COO of Asia Miles, he scaled the programme from 8 million to 12 million members with 20%+ CAGR, expanded its partner ecosystem to 800+ global brands across 26 airlines and 300,000 hotels, and built big data analytics capabilities for personalised, behaviour-driven engagement. As Global Head of Shangri-La Circle, he transformed a 100+ property luxury hospitality group from a B2B-first model into a D2C powerhouse — growing the programme to 17 million members and winning Grand Champion at the Loyalty & Engagement Awards.
In fintech, Alan served as CMO of Fusion Bank (Tencent-backed), launching Hong Kong's virtual banking brand from scratch and acquiring 40,000 customers in just four months — one of the fastest digital banking ramps in the region. He was also Board Member of the Hong Kong Competition Commission, Communications Authority, and Housing Authority — bringing regulatory and civic depth to his commercial career.
Today, as CMO of Moca Network at Animoca Brands, Alan is building the identity layer for the Web3 economy — where loyalty, reputation, and personal data become assets that individuals truly own. He is a regular speaker on AI, digital identity, and the future of consumer trust, most recently on the panel Guardians of the AI Galaxy at the AI and Business Innovation Summit (London, 2026).
