I thrive on both one-to-one and group relationships by creating supportive working environments for personal and business growth, leading to shared success. I have been formally delivering business and personal coaching for the last four years after a career of 35+ years as a senior leader in the transport industry, working for public and private sector businesses as well as establishing and running my own management consultancy. I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and did my coaching training with Barefoot Coaching. I offer personal one-to-one and team/group coaching sessions as well as working with some of my coaching colleagues on shared projects. I am also the Events and Professional Development Lead at Women in Transport, a not-for-profit that empowers women in the industry to maximise their potential. My role involves oversight of the “LEAD” Leadership Development programme, the Advance Mentoring programme and the Intersectionality workstream. I am also a Mentor on the Advance programme and a Coach on the LEAD development programme. I have experience of coaching and mentoring in both public and private sector organisations, specifically with women in the transport and construction industry and with young people through my work as a STEM Ambassador. In addition, I also bring to my coaching offering a significant amount of experience in managing and leading senior, multi-disciplinary teams to develop both individual and team performance and to embed a winning delivery culture.
Join Women in Transport’s Angela Gainsford and Steve Griffiths as they take you through the benefits of mentoring, whether it be formal or informal, one-off or part of an organised programme. In this interactive session, we will discuss what makes a great mentor and how to prepare to be mentored. Learn all about the Women in Transport Advance Mentoring Programme which is open for applications from 29th September as it enters its 9th consecutive year.
