Nicholas Lyes is a seasoned professional in the field of road safety and transportation policy. As the Director of Policy and Standards at road safety charity IAM RoadSmart, he has a strong background in advocating for safer and more efficient road systems, and has 10 years experience in roads policy, having previously been Head of Roads Policy at the RAC.

Nicholas is passionate about creating a connected future for roads, where safety, sustainability, and efficiency are at the forefront. With a focus on data-driven solutions and stakeholder engagement, Nicholas believes this is a crucial period for reducing KSIs on our network.
