FUTTEC MACHINERY a.s,

FUTTEC is a Czech developer and manufacturer of patented microwave technology for permanent pothole repair. The principle is hot asphalt into a hot pothole: microwave energy heats the existing pavement through its full depth, and fresh hot-mix asphalt is laid into the pre-heated area so that the two materials merge and are compacted as one. There is no cold joint, and therefore no seam for water to exploit — the usual starting point for repeat failure. A single repair takes under an hour and can be carried out all year round, including freezing conditions down to −10 °C, cutting total maintenance costs by up to 50%, CO₂ emissions sixfold against conventional methods and traffic disruption to a minimum. Alongside the repair technology, FUTTEC supplies AI-based road monitoring that detects surface degradation early and ranks it by urgency, before and after repair, so that maintenance is planned from evidence and its results measured over time. The FT-3 and FF-9 machines are available truck-mounted or as a trailer, with electrically driven microwave units powered by an on-board generator, requiring no external power supply on site. The technology is in service on roads of every class, from city streets and rural lanes to national motorways.
