Tom Jennings is General Manager of Ratio EV, a UK manufacturer of intelligent electric vehicle charging solutions. With more than 20 years’ experience in engineering, product design and development, Tom brings extensive technical knowledge alongside a practical understanding of the rapidly evolving EV charging market. Having started his career within the engineering team at Thorlux Lighting, part of the FW Thorpe Group, Tom played a key role in the early development of Ratio EV’s charging technology, including the io7 integrated charging pillar. Today, he leads Ratio EV as the business continues to expand its range of UK-manufactured charging solutions for workplace, destination and public charging applications. Tom is passionate about developing practical, reliable and accessible charging infrastructure that meets the needs of installers, operators and EV drivers. He is also a regular contributor to industry discussions and CPD sessions, sharing insight into EV charging technology, infrastructure planning and the role of well-designed AC charging in supporting the UK’s transition to electric mobility.
