Cara has spent her career so far working within sustainability in the NHS. She is currently the Head of Sustainability at East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) and leads on net zero, managing utilities and environmental compliance. A major part of EMAS’ drive to net zero is fleet decarbonisation. Cara is responsible for developing and delivering EMAS’ electric vehicle infrastructure meeting the requirements of a growing electric emergency fleet. Outside of the NHS, she has been a Trustee for Derbyshire Wildlife Trust since 2018.
