In her current role as Partner - Payments Advisory, MENA at Travel & Payments, Kanika collaborates with businesses across the Middle East to craft tailored payments strategies, develop and execute got-to-market strategies, new market entry, regulatory manoeuvring, fostering profitable partnerships and optimize financial operations. She is at the forefront of helping organizations navigate the dynamic payments ecosystem, ensuring seamless adoption of innovative technologies that drive growth and enhance customer experiences. Prior to this, Kanika led Fintech & Payments for Tabsquare AI, a Delivery Hero company, where she empowered F&B merchants with cutting-edge payment solutions, addressing pain points and scaling payment volumes by 5X. As Head of Commercial – APAC for Boku Inc., she managed relationships with global giants like Meta, Netflix, Google, and Microsoft, advancing the adoption of alternative payment methods across Asia-Pacific. Earlier, as Regional Head – APAC for Meniga, she drove customer engagement strategies for retail banks using AI-powered digital solutions. Kanika's expertise spans local payment methods, mobile wallets, cross-border payments, and demand-driven innovations. She has worked with global leaders like Visa, PayPal, and Discover Card, developing solutions that address underserved markets and foster financial inclusion. She has a degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA from Indiana University, which gives her a deeper insight into building technologies that solve the challenges of today’s banking environment.
