Rudolf Hubauer is Managing Director and founder of BOXmover GmbH and BOXmover Waggonbau GmbH, specializing in modular rail freight systems and intermodal logistics solutions. With over 25 years of experience in engineering, certification, and industrialization of heavy-duty systems, he combines European rail standards with a strong focus on production efficiency and scalability. He has led the development and approval of modular wagon platforms such as the BaseFrame system, enabling flexible applications for steel, bulk, vehicle, and intermodal transport. His work focuses on translating complex engineering into production ready systems using design-for manufacturing principles. Currently, he is building international manufacturing partnerships, particularly in Thailand, including licensed production and joint venture models for wagon frames, superstructures, and containers. The focus is on scalable manufacturing, local market supply, and re-import to Europe under competitive cost structures.
