Kazue Yasuoka(Ms.)
Manager, East Japan Railway Company
Kazue Yasuoka joined JR East in 1991, is working in the field of railway signalling as a construction supervisor and designer, gaining experience in domestic construction projects. She also worked in maintenance, future planning, and R&D, specifically involved in the monitoring and improvement of point machines.
Later, she was joined a construction consulting company, where she gained experience in detailed design and supervision of overseas projects, such as automatic level crossings in Cambodia, electronic interlocking
at Yangon Station, and the railway improvement project on the Yangon-Mandalay line.
Currently, she supports the promotion of overseas business in the electrical field for JR East.
She received the Japan Association of Technology Executives’ Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Development of Female Engineers in 2024.
