With nearly 20 years of experience, Jérôme N’KAOUA is involved in asset management engineering of transportation structure. Since previous fire incidents in tunnels in Europe, safety improvement operations have been implemented largely and international guidelines provided such as PIARC Committee 4 WG2 : “ASSESSING & IMPROVING SAFETY IN EXISTING ROAD TUNNELS”. Operation during which structural repairs and revamping of systems were also implemented to address holistically asset management on the long term. Through multiple operation such as asset management of 25 tunnels in Brussels, Diagnostics up to Pluri Annual Investment plan on long term concessionaire infrastructures with retaining walls, bridges, tunnels, Egis has develop specific tools, know-how and methods to ensure a better resilience of existing structures.
