Hazwan Alif Abdul Rahman is the Council Member of Malaysia Rail Industry Corporation (MARIC) and the CEO of CMC Group, a leading Malaysian system technology provider in public infrastructure, info-communication, and energy sectors. He has overseen significant railway projects such as the Malaysian KL LRT Extension Projects, KTM Double Track Rawang-Ipoh Line and the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Line 1. A founding member of MARIC, Hazwan is committed to advancing Malaysian railway expertise internationally. He is also the Board Member and Honorary Treasurer of the Institute of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) Malaysian Section. He also champions human capital development, having led initiatives like the Yayasan Peneraju Railway Graduate Training Programme. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Hazwan has a background with KPMG in London and EY in Kuala Lumpur. He holds a BSc in Economics from The University of Warwick and is an ICAEW Fellow.
