Ahmad Sugiana. He received a B.E. degree in computer science from the University of Padjadjaran , Bandung, Indonesia in 2002, and an M.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (BIT), Indonesia in 2009. In 2017, he received Dr. Eng. degree in control and instrumentation engineering from Kwangwoon University, Seoul, South Korea. During Ph.D. program, he was involved in some research about railway signaling engineering such as interlocking, etc.
From 1999 to 2013, he joined the Department of Signaling, Telecommunication and Electricity, Indonesia Railway Company. Since 2017, he has joined the Department of Electronics Engineering, at Telkom University. He joined with Railway Convergence Technology Management Institute, Woosong University (South Korea) as a postdoctoral researcher and assistant professor from 2020 to 2022. He is also active at the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) Indonesian Chapter as Secretary from 2021 till now.
