Dr. Mariam is currently a Consultant Clinical Pathologist & Laboratory Director at Zulekha Hospital, Dubai. She joined Zulekha Healthcare Group in 2013 in Zulekha Hospital Sharjah where she has worked with the team to be recognized with the first College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation for the Laboratory. She is at present a certified team leader/Inspector for the College of American Pathologists (CAP) in the region since 2019 with an annual award of inspector Recognition, Achievement & Honor. She has been assigned as a Laboratory Director & Chief pathologist at Eurofins Biomnis Middle East LLC, UAE & as a Medical Director of the Stem Cell Bank CellSave Arabia, Dubai from March 2023 till May 2024. Dr. Mariam is a member of several societies, has presented multiple posters in conferences & has many publications. Dr. Mariam has been recognized with her team by the Univants of Healthcare Excellence in 2021 for a clinical care initiative related to Diabetes patients and the study got published. Dr. Mariam has started her clinical pathology journey in the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University Teaching Hospitals, Egypt where she has completed her three years of residency, her Master & Medical doctorate in Clinical & Chemical Pathology and is at present an Assistant Professor of Clinical and Chemical Pathology in the same institute.
