Douglas Azar is the CEO of Wealthinitiative, a WealthTech based in Switzerland. Wealthinitiative is (1) marketplace and (2) an automated valuation tool for non-bankable assets (real estate, art, passion investments and shares in private companies).
Douglas has 14 years' experience in Banking in various locations (U.S.A, Middle East, Switzerland) including 8 years in Private Banking focusing on investment advisory. He also has extensive knowledge in "art investment" and wrote articles in newspapers on the subject. Douglas is a regular speaker at conferences on the theme of non-bankable assets and Blockchain. He graduated from Audencia business school in France and also has a Master in business law form Assas University in Paris. He is a CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) charter holder.

WealthTech Start-Up Pitches

Given the variety of start-ups and WealthTech firms within the Wealth Management industry and the increasing challenge to work out who to engage with to meet your business needs, this session will allow organisations to get their brand and solutions out into the investment community. Our aim is to provide a platform for this fresh entrepreneurial spirit to flourish.We will be hosting a round of start-up pitches where each budding and innovative organisation will have 5 minutes to pitch. Pitches will be split into B2C and B2B groupings.
