Ranjith Balakrishnan is Senior Vice President - Global Sales & Business Development at blackNgreen, where he focuses on global sales, business development and strategic partnerships with mobile network operators. His work centres on helping telecommunications operators generate additional revenue from existing network traffic and subscriber interactions through digital monetisation solutions.

He brings more than 20 years of experience across telecommunications, digital platforms, technology and international business development. Since joining blackNgreen in 2012, Ranjith has progressed through leadership positions spanning project management, global operations, client services and commercial strategy. His responsibilities have included expanding the company's presence across Africa, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Europe, supporting partnerships and deployments with major telecommunications groups.

During his tenure, Ranjith has contributed to blackNgreen's expansion to more than 160 operators across over 90 countries. His experience includes developing group-level commercial agreements, revenue-sharing models and multi-market deployment strategies, as well as managing relationships with operators including MTN, Orange, Axiata, Telkomsel and Africell.

Before joining blackNgreen, Ranjith held technology and project management positions with Adconion Media Group, ESPN, Merrill Lynch and Whirlpool Corporation. His earlier work covered digital advertising platforms, online media, customer relationship management systems and technology delivery.

Ranjith holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University at Buffalo and has undertaken executive education at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. His expertise spans telecommunications monetisation, global business development, strategic partnerships, commercial strategy and digital platform operations.
