Anand Renukanand is Regional Director for Asia Pacific at F-Secure, where he leads the company’s strategic initiatives and business development across the region. His work focuses on expanding consumer cybersecurity solutions, developing strategic partnerships and driving commercial growth through technology and digital services.

He brings more than 25 years of international experience across telecommunications, cybersecurity, wireless technologies, product development and business management. Since joining F-Secure in 2021, Anand has focused on strengthening the company’s regional presence, drawing on his experience in technology commercialisation, business development and strategic account management.

Alongside his role at F-Secure, Anand is Founder and Managing Partner of Veneru, an IT consulting and business solutions company. His work spans enterprise technology, digital platforms, analytics and technology startup advisory, including projects in healthcare, education and digital marketplaces.

Previously, Anand spent more than 13 years as Chief Operating Officer of Embedded Wireless Labs, overseeing strategic growth and technology development across Malaysia, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom. His experience included establishing R&D and software development operations, developing wireless telecommunications infrastructure, and commercialising solutions in healthcare, IoT and electronic payments. Earlier, he held international sales and operations leadership positions with K M International and A C Delta.

Anand holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has completed executive education at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is also named as an inventor on patents relating to wireless physiological monitoring and data acquisition. His expertise spans cybersecurity, telecommunications, strategic partnerships, wireless technologies, product innovation and international business development.
