The Dutch Subsea Cable Coalition (zeekabelcoalitie.nl) brings together leading industry stakeholders to strengthen the Netherlands’ position as a global digital hub, ensuring resilience, growth, and security of critical subsea cable infrastructure. As Ambassador of the coalition, Martin Prins actively represents this mission in national and international forums.
Martin is Senior Partner at The Flow Advisors, where he supports leading telecommunications and data center companies worldwide in developing pragmatic growth strategies. With deep sector expertise and a results-driven approach, he has become a trusted advisor to listed companies and large enterprises.
His international career began at Compaq Computer Corporation, where he became the youngest IT manager at a NASDAQ-listed enterprise. He went on to hold senior leadership roles at Worldport, Energis plc, and Enertel N.V., driving large-scale data center and network infrastructure initiatives, including a successful management buy-out.
Martin has since held CEO, COO, and board advisory roles across multiple organizations, including The Datacenter Group, UkkoMobile, and Reasonnet/Sentia, contributing to significant growth, M&A activity, and European market expansion. More recently, he has been instrumental in strategic initiatives positioning the Netherlands as a landing point for new subsea cables and a secondary data center hub.
Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Business Administration. Based in Rotterdam with his family, he combines his professional activities with chairing cultural foundations and pursuing his passion for squash.
