Massimo Sapone EssilorLuxottica Senior Vice President, North America Distribution Planning and Logistics. Massimo leads the entire Distribution Planning and Logistics team for EssilorLuxottica’s North America region, which includes Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of more than 590,000 lenses and 115,000 frames per day across North America.  Massimo brings an abundance of international experience in global operations to his role as the North America leader of Distribution Planning and Logistics. Passionate about delivering best-in-class quality and service, Massimo leads his team to provide the customer with products of the highest quality to continue to grow the EssilorLuxottica as leader in the industry. Prior to his time with EssilorLuxottica, Massimo served in various global executive leadership roles in Europe for companies like LG, Geodis and Haier. In his 13 years with EssilorLuxottica, Massimo has been appointed to lead multiple executive positions in the Group’s global Logistics facilities in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Brazil and Latin America. He brings extensive Operations knowledge in product excellence, superior service and innovation into his current role, where he leads a team of 3000 employees with a spending of $0.55B USD in North America, the Company’s largest and most complex region in the world.
